Stuff I Like - May Edition

I seriously can't believe that it's June already; May went so quickly! It feels like I posted on the first day of May - talking about how awesome April was - just a few days ago, not a full month. I wish May was longer. :( On a positive note, June brings a favourites post! So here are the things I liked last month. :)

TV

America's Next Top Model
This isn't actually a May favourite; it's a every month favourite. xD I can't go a day without watching an episode of ANTM with my mum, and have been this way for...quite a while now.  It's addictive! I've seen most of the seasons, and am now re-watching cycle 7 (my favourite cycle) even though I know who wins. :P I seriously adore this programme. ^__^

The Apprentice

I've watched the past few series' of the Apprentice but I think this is my favourite so far. :) It's the final on Wednesday! I want Nick to win. >__<

The Musics ;D

Taylor Swift - Fearless

This CD has been the soundtrack to the past month, and literally hasn't left the stereo in my bedroom. I absolutely love Taylor Swift! ^_^ I think 'Breathe' is my favourite track. <3

Wearables :P

Bird Scarf from New Look
My mum bought me this scarf from New Look last month and I've worn it an awful lot since. It's so pretty and floaty! ^__^

Bunny scarf from Primark
Hehe, another scarf. ;P I bought this one in...September last year but didn't really wear it until last month.  It's really over sized so it swamps me, but I love it anyways. ;)

Youtubers

missglamourazzi

Ingrid is my new favourite beauty guru; she's just so bubbly and adorable and I love her videos to pieces! <3

dailygrace

Ohmygod I love dailygrace. O___O She is by far the funniest youtuber I watch, and I could easily watch her videos for hours on end (I know this to be true, as I have done so...:P). It was hard to pick a video to put here, I just love them all! ;D

Hope you're having a wonderful day,

As blue as Tom Milsom's hair

Is one (strange) way to describe my new camera. XD

'Aint is just gorgeous?! ^__^ This photo was taken on my old camera, and the quality is still pretty good, but it's nothing compared to the new one!
Aaaand the old one. The photo was taken on my new camera. ;)

I had a Kodak easyshare...something or other :L, now I have a Nikon Coolpix S3100, and so far I'd recommend it if you need a new camera. :)

See what I mean? My camera is hair-coloured. ;D

Desert Island Books

This post is going to be in response to kayleyreads' newest video where she talks about the books she would want to take to a desert island, if she happened to be shipwrecked with a very carefully chosen selection of books. :P Click here to watch the video!

There are different categories for this selection; a book you have read and would like to re-read on a desert island, a book you haven't read but really want to, a book from when you were younger, a series, and a random selection of any book. :) So after a lot of deliberation and thought, I have finally made my selection. ;)

Re-Read: Paper Towns by John Green.  This really wasn't very hard to choose, as Paper Towns is my (joint) favourite book, and is a book I would really miss if I didn't have it with me on a desert island. <3

Unread: This one is really hard, because there are so many books I want to read, and it's impossible to choose just one out of the thousands I want a chance to read.  If I really had to choose though, it would probably be The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, as it has come highly recommended, and it's been on my to-read list for a while. :)

Old Favourite ^__^: This was another hard decision as there are three books that I have loved since I was really young, and have re-read since then and loved just as much. The three in the running were The Giants and the Joneses by Julia Donaldson, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo and Paradise End by Elizabeth Laird, and I honestly love them all equally. :/ I could only choose one though, so I settled for Paradise End; one of the most amazing and gorgeous books I've ever read. :')

Series: Harry Potter, no questions about it. :P I'm not a big fan of series' to be honest, and whilst I like the Hunger Games, the Georgia Nicholson Diaries and The Wings series, Harry Potter is the only series that I love. ^__^

Random Selection: I decided to choose the runner up for my re-read category for this one, as it was a very close second to Paper Towns. It's another John Green, and is....The Fault In Our Stars!! One of the main reasons for this selection is the fact that I have a signed copy and wouldn't be able to leave it behind if I was stranded on a desert island. :P I absolutely love this book. >___<

What's In My Bag?

I bought a new bag on wednesday! This time it is actually big enough to carry the stuff I really need; my purse, my phone, and things to cover all types of weather. :P I filled it up today and felt the need to show it off. :L

It rains a whole lot in Scotland so obviously I need an umbrella, it's constantly cold, hence the gloves, and on the rare occasion that the sun in out, I have a pair of sunglasses in the pink pouch, ;)

The Best Q&A Ever

Q.  If you had a time machine, would you go back and kill baby Hitler? Or simply kidnap him and put him a special orphanage for evil babies
Asked by Jenni

A.  My answer, of course, is to put him in the Evil Baby Orphanage. ;)

End of Q&A. ^__^

Well that was a bit of a fail. :P It was fun anyway, though, and I'm sure you've learned a lot about me. XD

Shoesies!

Since last august, I have practically lived in Converse. I'm definitely not saying this is a bad thing, but it's a little bit worrying when you go shoe shopping and physically can't walk in the shoes you try on...O_O The thing about Converse is that they wrap themselves around your feet, therefore you don't have to hold them on at all when you walk, but with flatties (dolly shoes or moccasins etc) you have to hold them on slightly when you walk.  When you go for almost a year in Converse, walking in shoes that don't hug your feet is a big change. That is why I walked like a complete weirdo when I tried on shoes last night. :P After I hobbled about in various shoes, I ended up buying two new pairs, to give me a change from Converse. :)

£12.99 from H&M ^_^

Down from £25 to £10 from New Look! >_<
Maybe now my Converse won't be my only option for foot wear. :P

New Blog Button!

I made a new blog button! My old one wasn't really appropriate for my blog, so I made a new one that was more cohesive and more my style. ;) If you have my old blog button on your blog, it would be great if you could change it to this one. Thankies! ^_^
